The way I see it. NS would let us have fun with our repaints etc. After all. It's free publicity. Like you stated. As long as no one bashes the co.
Anyway.
I had to see what my future Erie R.R. would look like. I've had it on the drawing board since I started these things. For what it's worth. Painting these not so easy ES44's is a lot easier if they don't have any stripes. *!lol!*
In case you're wondering. It's not getting uploaded anytime soon. It's just my toy for now. *!!wink!!*

Anyway.

I would say, also, this is virtual and fictional world: buildings, tracks, layouts, scenery, new lighting on routes (like most of ambient lights with no beam source on HSC, WH and WCML etc.), all of this providing real fun... on games there are limits for 100% prototypical stuffs, and must have some sort of license to realise some creative dreams...

Now I just hope that some talented person out there would be kind enough to repaint the SD70's to go with these great ES44 repaints. It just go's to show how many small companies with colourful paint jobs have gone due to these super companies.

Between the sample drawing above and this pic, I based the paint from. Although I used a color chart, I think it should be darker. In the paint booth it looks right. In game it's too bright. I'm just playing around with it for now till I decide on something. It won't get released till NS shows me their version.

Upgrade patch coming out.
I fixed and upgraded the first four I did. Better textures and some flaws on my part I couldn't ignore. Added the number plates on the back and some other minor improvements. It's just the first ones. NKP, N&W, DL&W and the SR. I'm just making one patch. It will include the fixes for the four in one rwp. Only skin changes. Will not effect anything else. I think you will see a noticeable improvement. Lackawanna had many flaws and the NKP looks much better. *!!wink!!*

Hmmm, obviously another case where a railroad used a green so dark it ends up looking black (cf. Penn Central "black").

And here I always thought Erie colors were black and gold. Learn something new every day!

After many searches for Erie stuff I find out that they used a variety of colors and I think some were black.
I hope everyone got the patch put in OK. I'm going to chill out for bit now.
I haven't been a member here all that long but I think this month must be a record for available downloads on RWA. !!*ok*!!
