These units look so nice. What a wonderful way for NS to pay tribute to the past. What a sight it would be to see all of them together and polished up to the 9s when they are all complete. Not just heavy work horses anymore, more like works of art.

The NS "Derby Train" (Train that goes to the Kentucky Derby) will have the Southern, Norfolk and Western, and Conrail heritage units on it. Might go chase it. !!*ok*!!

Wow, they sure are putting these things out at a good clip. Those older schemes were so much more colorful than what we see today. I think the U.P. is one of the very last to continue a similar scheme for years.
Looking good though.

That Central of Georgia is a really sharp looking lady. All these are, really. Can't wait to see if they put all of them together on parade. Someone with a camcorder better be there! !!*ok*!!

I agree Chris the CG is my favorite thus far. Maybe I will try and do a repaint of this one.

Wish the Southern was in the Geep scheme, not the F/E unit scheme..

I was worried how a scheme designed for a curved body (E unit) will fit on a square nose (also the PRR 5 stripe they went with). But it came out nice. Also getting the Southern "Tuxedo" scheme on the Savannah & Atlanta unit, which should come out nicely.

Jointed Rail has jumped the shark and done the first three units for another trainz simulatorz whoz namez I shallz notz mentionz.

I was near Chattanooga the night the photo of the CofG unit was taken. That was a fantastic storm, and was even better 50 miles away! Kudos to the photographer for having the patience and big cojones to get that shot.

I'll bet the crews driving these units are quite amused by all the foamers standing trackside to get a shot at these units. Would love to be a fly on the wall for those conversations.

As the crew on the Conrail unit said during a re-crew: "There's foam everywhere!"
