I'll try to link it to the DeltaRPM control and have it flame up if you throttle up too fast. Need a scorched up GE also, perhaps one of those "rent-a wreck" repaints will do?

First need to find that camp fire though? There is no way of graphically listing all the assets in an install, right?

Also came along a rotating/sweeping beam of light in some German route carnival ride/fair asset. Thought one could hack a nice Mars light out of that. Need to find it back first, though ...

SMMDigital wrote:Interesting true story - we've had two people at the place I work threatened with firing because of their posts on facebook. One person had posts of a "racially insensitive" nature, not having anything to do with the workplace, and was called into the plant manager's office and told to remove it. Another guy went on a drunken rant about an inept supervisor, and was threatened by said supervisor with termination, even though what the guy said was dead-on true. So not only are you being interview for jobs via social meda, your facebook activity may also be factored into your next performance review. Remember that your so-called "free speech" rights are protected from government interference, not private entities, so be careful what you post on that site.

It's my understanding that it is not illegal for an employer, or prospective employer, to ask for your Facebook password, but you are not legally required to supply it (not yet anyway).
However, your employer can legally fire you if they find something they don't like, but you can take them to court and there's a chance you could win.
Likewise, a prospective employer and you are in the same situation.

This whole privacy thing really needs to be better defined in law, but unfortunately, in the current environment, it may be defined against us.

Well those who want the dash 8 are getting it....BETTER. I am almost done with the upgrades on it. Cab will be reworked as well. and I'm thinking about doing the W cab for the dash 8 also, not sure yet on that. Performance is stutter free in high poly tiles too.

Unfortunately, Georgia, like 22 other states, is a "Right-to-Work" state, meaning that you can quit a job with or without notice, at anytime, for any or no reason, but it also means that an employer can fire you in a likewise manner. They could see something they don't like on Facebook, or even Railworks America, fire you for it, and make up any reason they like, or even say they didn't have to have a reason, they just felt like firing you that day. You could probably win the lawsuit, but it would be a hard fight.

As far as the SD75i, i'm wondering if RSC is about to make a Canadian route? They seem to be leaning in the direction lately of making equipment that goes along with the routes they are producing.

What if they do a WC route or IC route since CN owns them?

Hi Jerry,
You are confusing "Right to Work" with "Employment at will". Right to work means a company cannot have a closed shop, in other words they cannot force you to join a union. Of course if you have a problem with the employer, the union is under no obligation to represent you, in other words you're on your own. There are some exceptions, but that is the basic meaning. "Employment at will" means you can quit your job at any time without giving your employer notice and your employer may terminate you at any time without notice. The up side to "Employment at will" states is you can collect unemployment if you are terminated. Again there are some exceptions, like if you were terminated for stealing, but if they just walk in and say your position has been eliminated and have a nice day, you can collect unemployment. Georgia is both a "Right to Work" state and a "Employment at will" state.

To get back on track, for me I find it amusing when people call SD60's classic EMD's !*roll-laugh*! !*lho*! For me the classic's are anything pre-dash 2 *!!wink!!*

Regards,
Rich S.
