I would love that! Would work patched or as run-through on my NC route, and as a CRHS member, that would be awesome to run on the HSC.

Thats why people with a bit of common sense are careful for what they post on facebook for this exact reason(especially in my situation, as I am a education major, so I am on a very short leash, and rightly so!). Plus a person can set their account to very high privacy setting where they are almost invisible to the rest of facebook.

Anyway back on topic!

From quick glances the exterior of the locomotive looks quite similar to the already made SD70MAC(I'm sure though there are a lot of subtle differences!). I would rather have something a bit different. On the poll I actually chose the UP Turbine locomotive, but as other has stated the F40 has taken the poll by a landslide.

for me
1. U18B
2. U36B (opens auto train assets as well)
3. SDP45
4. F40PH
5. BQ23-7 (just railsexy)

as far as Cornell's GP38, if Jointed rails decides to do RW which i hope maybe they will update it to RW3, would be nice

Classic Diesels, right?

My wish list?

Alco PA with "Alco" smoke
Fairbank Morse Train Master
EMD SD45, high short hood units as well N&W, SOU, they looked massive!
EMD SD9, the classic SP Cadillac
GE U-boats B and C with exhaust stack fire

Well JCornells GP38 only accomodates for ATSF, BN, BNSF, and some CSX models with the low headlights. CR, NS(Low hood), CP, SOO, CN, GTW, and UP to name a few all had high headlights. Not saying its a bad model as I use it a lot for switching but only a few roads look realistic.

they tend to focus on modern stuff because little johnny gets all excited, not the same seeing a 100 car train behind 2 Gevo's as opposed to a 100 car train behind 4-6 U boats, Geeps, or Alcos
the sound was incredible

Working on that exhaust stack fire now. Recently came accross a small camp fire asset that flickered red to orange. I'll try to link it to the DeltaRPM control and have it flame up if you throttle up too fast. Need a scorched up GE also, perhaps one of those "rent-a wreck" repaints will do?

First need to find that camp fire though? There is no way of graphically listing all the assets in an install, right?

Also came along a rotating/sweeping beam of light in some German route carnival ride/fair asset. Thought one could hack a nice Mars light out of that. Need to find it back first, though ...

Don't put any trust in that. Facebook as been sued many times for violating their own privacy policy, and Facebook didn't win.
It doesn't matter what privacy settings you make in your profile, Facebook basically ignores them. That's how they make money. Your privacy means absolutely nothing to them.

I loathe Farcebook and only use it to keep up with NS, RW, and Prometheus, and will probably dump it after Prometheus. But this poll is purely a marketing decision for RSC. Take a poll, see what gets the most votes, then make the item. It reduces your risk of not making money by ensuring you are making what the vocal minority wants. Dahmn those who want more diesels in the modern era, or those who like steam, or those who don't particularly care for EVERYTHING PRR, or those who don't even use Farcebook.

Interesting true story - we've had two people at the place I work threatened with firing because of their posts on facebook. One person had posts of a "racially insensitive" nature, not having anything to do with the workplace, and was called into the plant manager's office and told to remove it. Another guy went on a drunken rant about an inept supervisor, and was threatened by said supervisor with termination, even though what the guy said was dead-on true. So not only are you being interview for jobs via social meda, your facebook activity may also be factored into your next performance review. Remember that your so-called "free speech" rights are protected from government interference, not private entities, so be careful what you post on that site.
