I noticed that the backface cull was never applied during my last attempt. I brought in my gp60 and sure enough the back faces disappear until you camera around them. Does this function results get transferred over to the game or is this just for max? i think I may have overlooked this, it could be that the game still processes the faces that arent in immediate view since the backface cull was not applied like i thought it was. Which I guess could slow things down. Is that right? I am going to test this over the weekend

UPDATE: Backface cull didnt do anything with regards to fps. I prefer not to have it either since half the model doesnt appear when you look at it unless the camera is opposite the face. 1/2 of the horn disappears which is undesirable for me.

can I use spline method, to alter the existing cylinder shape I imported?
