USWAGONS01 pack

Good Morning,
I am new to TS2012 and am at present going through a number of Scenarios in"purchased routes". Several times I am being advised that I am missing the subcject rollingstock. Apparantly it is supposed to be in my " */Assets/RSDL/ Railvehicles/" file but it is not. I have 'verified' my files with STEAM and they are still missing. Am I supposed to "replace" the cars or am I supposed to have the files???
I'd appreciate any advise, comment.

Log in to Steam, go to your games library, click on Train Simulator 2012/Railworks. When the Railworks page comes up on the right is a menu and one option is DLC. Click DLC and you can see everything that is for sale for Railworks. Scroll through the list to find the CN Wide Nose SD40.

Thanks for help Bob but, Steam informs me that I already own th CN sd40 wide nose. Apparantly that download does not inclue the USwagons. I notice that it should be in RSDL folder but its not. Perhaps someone could point me to a site where I can acquire that folder.

Just verify the local files in the Steam client and any missing file will be downloaded again.

The Widenose is a very good add-on, and as a bonus you can add, on top of it,
SD40-2W CN Zebra Repaints by roinuj
and
EMD 16-645E3 Sound Pack by simer4
WIth these you'll have the most true-to-life engines in RW.

I've verified my downloads and No "USWagons01". I'll keep looking.

When I first bought the CN Wide Nose, the freight were in the RSC\SD40WnPack01 folder. After one of the updates they got moved to the RSDL folder for an unknown reason. I was thinking maybe htey were making them default items, but nothing was ever said. The only thing I can think of to do is delete the SD40WnPack01 folder and then do the verify cache to make it actually redownload something. Or copy it somewhere else in case nothing comes through for some reason. After that time to email tech support.

Yeah, I recently got the CN Widenose (well a couple of months ago), and it now comes with only the 89Ft Flatcar, 4 Chute Covered Hopper, and Centre Beam Flatcar. They can be found in */Assets/RSDL/USWagons01/Railvehicles/Freight (not the path you wrote in above). I think the old USWagon pack had additional cars. What specific cars is it saying you are missing?

I think most people using the sim have the old stock. It's us newer users that find some missing. I had similar issues with reported missing stock. I'm trying to remember how I solved this problem. I'll keep thinking...but let us know what cars it's calling for.

US Wagons01 was some older download content, you can find it on a 3rd part site for sale, however it may have malware, i know its different than the CN widenose

The ones that appear most often are the Uswagons01. I deleted the RSDS file and "reverified" and Steam sent me the new file but, it had the same content. Not the wagons. I have written to them asking for an explanation. The problem is that those of us who acquired TS2012 recently find that we can't run a lot of the old scenarios designed by people with the older files. they have been pretty good about responding. I'l keep you posted.

Didn't something come with the highnose SD40 and/or the original Ohio Steel? I don't remember what that was though.

Right you are, Kali: 2 Bay Ballast Hopper, Auto Parts Box Car, Low Sided Gondola. Could those be the remaining cars from the old USWagons01 pack?

I'm still wondering precisely which cars it's telling you that you are missing. It's not just the USWagons01, it'll be some specific car, right?
