As I decided to start over with a fresh RW3 install, I lost some of the accumulated assets. I downloaded everything in the first page of this thread, and have Willamette Pass up and running again except for the manual switch stands. They're the missing object 'milk bottle'. Does anyone know where I can find this asset, or better yet, is it possible to get scalerail switch stands instead? Was that track rule option ever released?

1. Finishing the conversion of roads to Scale Roads and adding road traffic.
2. Replacing all the non-functional crossing gates with functional crossing gates.
3. Replacing all manual and automatic switches with Scale Rail switches.
4. Replacing all Signals with Jerry Conaway's US&S Searchlight Signals (prototypical for this route).
5. Removing and replacing assets that could be hard to find, thus avoiding the need to hunt them down. **!!bang!!**

This will make the route more consistent and prepare it for future extensions.
I'll keep you posted.

Did a search, but didnt find this update anywhere; was it ever released?

Ran an explore consist on this route with no problem. Tried to run the D/Led scenario and it would not load. Ran the route thru RW Tools and came up with the missing assets:

BarnsRS\Cornish Branch Line (3)
Brill\Addon (2)
Developer\Addon (2)
Icepack\ice (7)
John Lippai\NS New River District (1)
Kujo\RailSimulatorUS\scenery (10)
Niall Wallace\Generic Stuff (2)
NZTSWS\Big Peter (1)
NZTSWS\SavV (1)
SAD\Network (1)

Is this a RW3 thing and do I need to D/L the whole route again?

No, I had the same problem with RW2 months ago.
I abandoned hope of running the available scenario(s) on this route because of so many missing assets not mentioned in the readme.

I just d/l the route yesterday and it is quite a beauty. I'll have to set up a free roam in it. There was no engine, so I just flew along the route for a while. I'm very sad to hear there aren't any scenarios for it that will work.

All of these sound familiar to me. If this is all that is missing then it would be pretty simple to find and get them. Some are right here on RWA. The SAD can be found on UKTS and some DE site. If we all chip in maybe we can update the readme and request Hawk to swap it out.

Correction: I am looking around and I think I am wrong about some of the packs being available here at RWA. Google is coming up with some hits though. I will report back later.

I cannot find a ReadMe. It was D/Led as a .rwp file. Also I tried to D/L the SAD file at TrainSimUK. Was 148th in queue when I started and five hours later made it all the way to 140. Naturally I gave up.

Well, I haven't given up on trying to find the assets, I just have other things in the queue at the moment (like fitting a snow grill over the front wind screen of a GP38-2 *!greengrin!*).

If you search RWA and UKTS you may find where others have spoken about this issue.

Slight Update:
I found the NRD site which doesn't have a front end page, but it does have a download section. See if some of these will correct a few of the problems.

Also I found the DE download site for SAD:

One reason I wait and make a list of stuff I want from UKTS, I pay the minimum fee, and download it all at once. I get ahead of that ridiculous queue and it's not really that expensive if you go for several items at once, or over a month's time. !!*ok*!!

Mot sure it it has been mentioned before but on the route if you go to Lat.43.67972 Long. -122.28315 just at the end of the tunnel the line is broken so you can not drive any further. Hard to see if you are not on the train driving but if you are on the train driving it you will see it for sure and in the editor if you have the track tool selected and look you will see 2 red boxes where the break is instead of the triangle. I tried to fix it with no luck

I found the same thing and also could not fix it, so I deleted the route and will not reinstall until this is fixed.

Attn John Lappai. It would be nice to know if you are still working on this route. It is
one of the most exceptional routes I have seen. John *!rolleyes!*
