That's no moon. It's a space station.

It's too big to be a space station.

They've made a "Death Star" mod for Skyrim already? !*don-know!*

OK, who here remembers the Star Wars/ Tie Fighter arcade game from the late 70's? How many quarters, how many pitchers of beer and slices of pizza at Shakey's pizza parlor did you spend? (OK, maybe a trip to the salad bar, too) !!*ok*!!

Shakey's or Shaker's? There is a family joint (two locations not so joint now) called Shaker's Pizza in my area.

Are you referring to the original wireframe 3D like game? Yea, I spent my share of quarters. You can get it emulated now, I think for free.

This one right?

That's the game, Papa! You got it! !!*ok*!!

Shakey's out here is a chain of pizza parlors. A dwindiling chain, but still, a place to go with the kids or friends. Really good pizza, a full salad bar, games for the kids (and us older kids) and pitchers of beer.

"bunch-a-lunch" here is still only $4.99. Two slices of pepperoni pizza, a full salad bar and a drink. Not too many old style arcade games anymore, tho. I'm not into Street Fighter kinda stuff.

I have a very bad feeling about this.

Oooo my poor quarters.
Thanks dad...

A few years ago a team published a Star Wars mod for Battlefield 1942. It was pure genius. It had everything, including working AT-ATs that you could drive. Needless to say, a map was dedicated to the Death Star trench assault. As a rebel you were a fighter pilot, as a stormtrooper you could be a piot or operate a cannon. I ran the official server, it was packed full for several months.

He he he he, that Star Wars mod was the only reason I bought BF1942. Otherwise I didn't really like the game, and I still am not fond of the newer versions (nor the MW stuff). I still have my BF1942 disks and the disk with the mod burned on it. Lots of fun back in the day! !!*ok*!!

I find Railworks to be distinctly lacking in B&M F-units...

BTW, Jointed Rail makes nice models, but the physics are hilariously bad. Of course, that's the case pretty much across the board in Trainz, which is why the only reason I have it at all is that there are a number of locomotives I like that haven't turned up in Railworks yet.

Picked up the Indie game "DEFCON." Pretty intresting different game style. And for only $2.49 USD couldn't pass it up:
