I'm having the wife bring my iPad after I'm out of recovery, and the hospital has wi-fi, so I'll post as soon as I can. (no, I'm not hooked on the 'net !*roll-laugh*! )

Thanks for all the good wishes.

Best of luck Mike! !!*ok*!!

Operation was a success, repairs went well. Of course, the pain levels are way high...

Then relax and let the meds and sleep do their job. Glad to hear all is going well Mike!

After a week, the pain is dropping, and I feel some better. I still have no use of my right arm, and it will be another two weeks before I do. The shoulder joint is smooth as glass with no gritting like it was. I definately think it gonna be great after we get the muscles healed and built back up.

Hey Mike

Glad to hear you are well. Take your time, don't rush anything. Be sure to listen to what the doctor and most importantly your wife tells you.

All the best to you sir.

I went to the therapist on Friday, and she removed the dressings. NO bleeding or plasma leakage at all! Looks ugly as hell with all those stainless staples, but they come out Tuesday (yay Showers!) I am doing a set of excercises to strengthen the muscles and am almost off the pain meds. I am now able to use my right hand as long as it's supported, so no more left handed mousing.

I have the little HH660 switcher ready to go, but I'm having some issues with adding the new head lights to it. Every time I try to add the child object, I have the engineer sitting on the front of the loco where the light goes! I'm guessing I'll need to move the light objects into the HH660 folder before they work properly.

Hi Mike, Did you have a total shoulder replacement or just a shoulder replacement. On the 24 of this month, I'm going in for a left total shoulder. I've had to wait 9 months to get it, but I'm very happy something can be done and the wait wasn't life threatening. Hope your recovery is progressing nicely.

I had to get the total shoulder, arthritis had ruined the bone and socket. Progress is good, healing seems to be on track as well as the therapy.
