TSW 6

Unread postby gtw5812 » Fri Dec 12, 2025 10:56 am

Good Morning Everyone!

I decided to take the plunge and try TSW 6 along with the ATSF pack. I just started exploring, but I must say....I like it! Here are a few screen shots while looking around. I haven't been around much lately....work gets in the way of "play"! One more hitch and I will be off for the winter!

Best Regards,

Galen

Hi Galen, love the screenshots, and much appreciated. The Santa Fe pack's services and scenarios will keep you busy (when you finally have some free time!). Regards, Gary

I have to agree! Very fun to run. This is why I do not listen to the "reviewers" on line. Gary and the boys at High Iron Simulations have done a great job in my opinion. Here are a few more screen shots! Enjoy!

The good news is that some very good things are coming for the Santa Fe package update, according to what they said in the roadmap.

I went over to "Train Simulator Community" and added a few enhancements... very nice! High Iron really did nice with the Santa Fe stuff. Looking forward to their next update and product release.

Here are a few shots of High Iron Simulations GP-60 add on to TSW6. Per usual, High Iron really "hit it out of the park" and these units, along with the spine cars are outstanding. I highly recommend them!

Galen

I picked up the GP60 pack myself last night. First impressions are good. Only complaint so far is that the horn volume seems weak. I'm hoping that a Santa Fe Super Fleet version will become available at some point. Would be a nice addition to the Santa Fe pack.

The only reason I moved to TSW6 was because of this recent HIS North American freight content. Otherwise, TSW5 was going to be the "end of the line" for me.

Thanks very much, Howard. The horn is on our "bug fix" list. - Gary
