Looks more like California fog than clouds. Yeah, trees need snow. No worries, I have faith, they'll get it right. !!*ok*!!

Looks pretty good. Do you see the shine of the other GP7's lights? !*brav*!

I hope they include PRR cabsignalling and the correct Position Light Signals (not the same as the NEC signals!).
If not, I won't buy it.

Those screenshots look jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Love the depth of field effect, the awesome real-time shadows, the rain effects, etc. etc. RW3 is looking like a quantum leap forward, at least in terms of immersion.

As for the sky/clouds, at first impression it does seem to be a bit low res, but if you look closely it looks like they might actually be 3D / volumetric, which would be something that may not look that impressive in a still shot but might look amazing in motion/in person.

Either way I am really, really excited to try it!! And this route will be a day 1 purchase.

On the clouds I have to say that it feels very immersive when your driving.

We toyed with the idea of using photo skydomes, but its a cop out really and a bit rubbish when you drive up to stuff. The new skydome is three layers, all independent I believe so as we ourselves get more used to the power of the new core we should be able to improve on it.

Very exciting here, but exhustion stalking us:-)!

PS. does anyone have a copy of the October Trains magazine? Does our new ad's look OK?

Only just got the September issue the other day (incidentally, that issue has a good article on Norfolk Southern raising clearances on very old tunnels and bridges to take advantage of the potential for more double-stacked container shipping opportunities that will show up when more containers come through the Panama Canal after its rebuild is finished in a couple of years. Worth a read if anyone is an NS fan). Anyway, I presume it'll be a while before I get the October one, but I'll look out for your ad in it.

Altoona baby! Station on the left is a dead give away for a 1950's Altoona.

Also note the two different PRR passenger equipment in the station. !!*ok*!!

Hmm... I guess the first batch are old heavyweights and the one after it newer streamlined equipment?
Or could it also be that the cars far a way aren't so dark because they aren't under the staion's roof? (shadows?)

(But please, pleeease... use a better kind of track! (3D sleepers, T-rail) Please! **!!bow!!** I can't see this terrible default track anymore.)

Soooooooooo about time RSC jumped on the PRR bandwagon. :) The amount of equipment that railroad made or had made for them could keep RSC busy for years. Proper PRR steam would be absolutely epic though. So many iconic steamers from them. *sigh*

Man UP is everwhere..lol Be nice to see some of this stuff in that route. I wonder what all of motive power we are going to have for this route.
