May I so gently disagree with you. I think it's a beautiful route with great scenery in a lovely part of our Country. Whether any route is worth $40 is all in the eye of the beholder. If you have constructive criticism have at it just please none of the mindless bashing like snaus or whatever his name is.

I agree with you Buzz....the EF-2 Unit alone is awesome. The route is great and I am really enjoying it. I believe if you do not support these developers, then nothing will come and it will just go by the wayside. Most of these guys have day jobs, and this is a side. The "reviewer" you speak of has NO railroad background, and admits it in his videos. I usually mute the sound and look at the equipment when he puts something out!

This route is something that hasn't been done, of an operation which is much overlooked. I hope that someone expands on it with more MILW locomotives and scenarios! The "Little Joe's" and EP-3 Quill Motors were iconic! I give them a hardy "WELL DONE"! !*cheers*!

Considering that the entire state of Montana for American Truck Simulator can be purchased for 12 USD, I'm still happy to pay the 40 USD just for the authentic trucks featured on the Milwaukee bay window caboose. Everything else is a bonus .. well, to me anyway. I saw those things roll through my hometown every day as a youngster, so to me it's worth the price just to see them rolling down the virtual rails again. Whether a route is worth the price or not, regardless of perceived quality, ultimately depends on the individual customer. Steam also offers a reasonable refund policy, if we're not satisfied with a purchase. To be fair, I've seen a few routes that were raved about, that I didn't think were all that great; but then I didn't have any sentimental connections, like some of the folks who were familiar with the locale.

I agree with the "if you build it, they will come" premise; hopefully we will soon see more of the unique locos and rolling stock that once roamed the Milwaukee Road. I too, look forward to a developer producing a "Little Joe" for this route.

I make it a principle to purchase, as soon as I can afford to, all third party routes and most rolling stock. I do this even when I am not particularly interested in a route (I have a number that I have not even turned a wheel on) or a loco (I have Diesel Workshops NZ and Brazilian offerings but don't use them) in support of the enterprise. Not supporting will lead to the developers not supporting and then we all will regret it. Fortunately the community often has "warning" of a forthcoming release and so funds can be saved towards the day, I am not a rich person but budget accordingly.
Comparing the price of TSC DLC with shootem ups etc TSC is not so bad and when compared to HO models - sorry, there is no comparison - been there done that, sold the lot for TSC DLC. We all have our own priorities and we should remember that what suits one will never suit all.

I know there has been "rumblings" of a merge between Bozeman and Pipestone routes. I thought I would mention that even though the coordinates match up, the wire height is incorrect for the Pipestone route equipment in the Bozeman route. Here is a view I took at Logan, just messing around.
