Released and downloaded. !*brav*! $16.90 USD
This is very nicely done. There are lots of controls, switches and valves to use manually. External variations can be done with keystrokes. I will mention that this loco is a resource hog. You will need a good system to run this. I believe that I saw this mentioned in one of Machine Rail's pre-release posts. I tested this on Boston and Albany with 40 cars and achieved 15-30 FPS in the yard without any static consists. It is well worth the FR hits. !!*ok*!!
Comments from Machine rail regarding frame rates:
'We worked for hours upon hours modeling this locomotive to ensure the best visual experience for a TSC player. Yes, this model is complex and highly detailed, so we will work with LODs technology to ensure acceptable performance during the simulation (for example, so that a Double-Header simulation is possible without obtaining a very sharp drop in FPS).
Therefore, if you still have a computer with a very outdated graphics card and processor, you will certainly experience a drop in FPS.'

52 different interactive cab controls, greater detail, additional animation. Has the ability to change some exterior details with key strokes. Detailed caboose. Sand dome covers and tender cistern covers animated to name a few. Some systems may be challenged by this. See Machine Rail's comments in my previous post.
UPDATE: The low frame rate issue is due to the internal cab lighting and shadows. Running with external lighting only will give the best performance.

I have found the cause of the low frame rates issue I have been having with this loco. It is caused when the interior lighting is turned on. The frame rates were 13-15 with the internal lights on and severe stuttering.I turned only the exterior lights and frame rates increased to 35+ even using in a double header configuration. Running with headlights, class lights, number board lights on only and the stuttering is eliminated and decent frame rates can be achieved.
System i79700K @ 4.8Ghz, 32GB RAM, RTX 3060 12GB GPU.
Has any one else had these issues?

honestly, some of the best texturing work i've seen for the game.
"If you really needed a diesel locomotive right away, then go ahead and order a ALCO. But if you could wait for real quality, then go for an EMD or a GE".

Can you check your frame rates with and without the internal lights on?

Quick look, in the cab it seems to make little difference with the loco sitting still. Driving on Lafayette route I get a solid 42-40 in the #4 view with the cab lights off 28-30 with them on. #2 view 38-40 with them off 28-30 with them on. More analysis to follow. Sunny day.

I have looked through the manual several times, how do you change the color of the classification lights? I can open the outer two roof hatches, how do you open the center hatch? I haven't found the right place to grab.
Update: To change the class light color is Shift+U and U (Not listed in the manual). Still haven't found the sweet spot for the center roof hatch.
