Cars are uploaded to the library now. Some are saying elsewhere that this is the same route that they already have with just some more trees. They just don't know what they are missing.

Actually, in my opinion the new route has less trees than before, but they look much better positioned.

And a ton of new buildings also.

If you have not tried it yet, go for the only Free Roam in the route, down the Keddie Junction. In that spot, it´s like comparing mid century XX (FRC) to century XXI (FRCE). Lots of business sites with auxiliary tracks each of them all full of rolling stock. You will enjoy that scenario.

Also the QD scenarios show so much rolling stock in all three main places, Oroville, Keddie and Portola. That gives life to those places. What is more, I am still with my old 1060 graphics card and I am experiencing pretty good fps.

The team really did a good job and I am sure they spent a lot of time to achieve it. !*brav*! !*brav*! !*brav*!

I really like this route and the "extra" rolling stock - though I'm having to re-learn braking the locomotives.

I may need a lesson or two about these improved brakes. :D

Attached is a pdf of Mike Rennie's excellent manual on air brake operations (as was included with our Saluda and B&O Mtn Sub) routes and should also be helpful here.

As a retired Landscape Architect with a practice in large regional land planning and an expertise in aerial photography analysis, I find the enhanced version of the Feather River route to be quite convincing as a western American mountainous landscape. Very well executed in two major aspect of this region - forestry and geology.

I would have used this route to teach how to read and interpret a landscape.

Bravo to the team members who spend endless hours to bring such joy. By the way, I hate the expression « Eye-candy ». This route is in a class of its own, again BRAVO. !*brav*! !*brav*!

I have noticed some birch trees, are these new? I found them on someones site a few months back and have been quietly adding them to the Alaska route. Lots of them up here but I couldn't find them in the original route.

I think rolling stock is Cool Too.. I am having hard time with the Dynamic Brakes on the GP9's. They don't work like any others I have. The indicator display in the Cab is hard to see, and the lever is wonky. I was thinking that these would have come based on the awesome HIS units from the Santa Fe pack. Of course it could just be, that is just being me... Needing to have to learn a lot more !**conf**!

After running around on the route for a few hours I'm getting a handle on the brakes. It's probably a lot like the real thing and takes a little getting used to and a little more anticipation to get the results you need . Read Smokebox tutorial. Worth a million.
