Why didn't you add that none of us can replicate your phenomenon. Maybe it only happens down under?

I tried Turn To The West Virginia Junction on the B&O Mountain Subdivision and had the same tree shadow results. DTG cannot replicate this either. I just updated to the latest Nvidia driver 537.58 released on the 10/10/23 and did a custom install which also allows you to uninstall the previous driver first but no difference. DTG also suggested that some 3rd party addon is causing this. As mentioned in another post I run RW Enhancer 2 which I completely uninstalled with no changes. I do run Armstrong Powerhouse Cloud Enhancement pack and Sky & Weather 2.0.

Here is a freeware route called the Darjeeling Mountain Railway, and some trees with leaves shadows have no leaves.

Hi, those look like the original Kuju trees. Still some of the best looking tree models ever made in my opinion, but the leaves without shadows is as expected on those. It's because they use a view-facing shader for the leaves, which cannot cast shadows in TSC if I remember correctly. On most of our routes, including Saluda, we used edited versions of those trees that are able to cast complete shadows.
