Boston & Albany RS3

Unread postby miata54 » Mon Jul 24, 2023 8:12 pm

Just got this route and noticed the NYC RS3 by Diesel Workshop has two horizontal side by side headlights. Now I am no expert onn the Alco RS series but I was always under the impression that the RS only had a single round headlight. What you say?

I serached the Library up to page 23 for a NYC RS3 repaint for Dick Cowan's RS3 but found none. Anyone know of one?

Thanks

Thanks for the pics guys which now begs the question, Britkits RS3 displays a single circular light. Were earlier RS series designed with the single light and gave way to the double configuration or was it the other way around?

And the FYI was the single bulb is the earlier one and the double is the later one.
