The DTM, "Western Maryland BL2 Loco Add-On"

Hello,

First off, if you have not purchased the "Western Maryland BL2 Loco Add-On", I highly recommend it. You get 3 locomotives, the EMD BL2 with 2 paint schemes, the GE 44 tonner with 2 paint schemes and the ALCO FA2 with 3 paint schemes. As well as a few freight cars and 3 cabooses.

That being said, I would love to see some repaints of this BL2 done because I'm a big fan of this locomotive. The 2 paint versions of the "C&O", the Black and Gold "Monon" and the "Bangor and Aroostook" #557, are at the top of my list. And there are more, such as the "Florida East Coast" and "Rock Island" and "Boston and Maine" that could be done.

I will provide some photo's and hope that maybe one or more of our painters will be interested in tackling some of these repaints.

The C&O would have the benefit of having a few former C&O routes available to run on, such as the "C&O Alleghany Route".

I have made the suggestion to DTM as the Rock Island retro fitted (soon after delivery) the train heat boiler in the short hood with the exhaust between the cab windows. Others were supplied so fitted from new. The WM version did not so is not exact for some versions but could be with a child exhaust?

I know that Antwerp was working on the Monon version and I told him I intended to do the C&O one. DTM is aware of both of these projects.

Monon is almost done. I'm juggling about a dozen projects both in-game and academic so I have no timeline for this.

There will be an 'as-delivered variant and a 'late' variant.

I can't do much for the auto-numbers on the nose and the front step plate so the number will only exist on the sides.
