OK .

While looking for some examples of 1000mm road, I came across a video on youtub from Angry Welshman Productions and I immediately liked what he had done.
So I had an "expolsion" of ideas that came to me and of course I got to work right away!

So I worked a lot yesterday until very late at night and today from 8am until 4pm.

I created a little trick for the "Narow Gauge" locomotives to have a little fun with all these beautiful locomotives.

There are several small branches (donate one for later, I will do an update), enough to load and unload the logs and other crates.
It's not very big, but the goal in this kind of small project is to have fun without strees for a good few hours doing "freight".

I put you some screens of the progress of the road.
I only have the vegetation left to lay down (a lot of work to come !!)

There are all the markers with their names, and something to test in free course. (I'm having fun right now !!!)

You must have the following DLC for this route:

-Union Pacific No. 119 Steam Loco Add-On
-Clear Creek Narrow Gauge Route Add-On
-Clear Creek Log & Lumber Expansion Pack Add-On
-Clear Creek Old Timer Rolling Stock Pack Add-On
- The assets of Kuju US and Euro too.

Screens :

Hello.

It's over !!! *!greengrin!*

Well it's not very big but there is something to take care of, moreover I will probably do an update later, because I also want to have a mine. !*drool*!

Here is the file available on my drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xqL2Og ... sp=sharing

I remove the link from the WIP of course.

I was faster than I thought, with the asset blocks it's very easy and very fast, I didn't remember that !!.

I managed to put it on the workshop as well as the Devil's Turn.

In fact I made a rotten QD which does not even anywhere, suddenly it worked. *!greengrin!*
Even if the QD will be useless, people will still be able to have the road and the "Free roam" which works well and there is everything you need to ride so ...

I still think that I must have a problem with my game because even on the new route I cannot do QD or scenario.

In short, no big deal, it works in Free roam and that's the main thing.

Have fun with the narow gauges.

I spoiled you for the resumption on TS, I think that in the future if I do other routes, I will only do US routes.
I have TW2 and all of its DLCs and the only thing that still makes me play TS are the steam locomotives.

A +

Zawal, on the workshop it says this route is required: Metropolitan Line: Aldgate - Uxbridge & Amersham Route Add-On.

Is this correct?

Wooo ...

I don't even know what this road is?!?

For the small line you need all the DLC from Clear Creek.
So the road and the two loco DLCs and the smokebox UP n119.

I just did a little update.

As promised, I built a new branch with a mine to be able to load coal.

I also added 4 free roams, one for each season including two for winter, one with falling snow and the other without.

All the rolling stock is already in place and ready for use, you just have to play and do what you want on the map.
You decide what to do.

Load grums, charcoal, planks or even just take a ride, you are the only master on board your 1000mm Narow Gauge.

Now I too will have fun and enjoy my two new small roads.

See you soon, maybe for another map who knows?!? ..... !!howdy!!

Another excellent NG route! Well executed! Reminds me a lot of the southern Colorado area near Pagosa Springs. Thanks a lot for this.

P.S. Please feel free to expand this route. Moooooore logging opportunities. !*cheers*!

It may just be me, but the link quoted by Zawal on Sept 2nd (1.50pm) for his narrow gauge vignette now seems to lead to "The Devil's Turn" and not to the 1,000 Metre route.

Odd. It worked for me a couple of days ago. Am I having a senior moment? !*don-know!*

John M

Later...

But it IS available on the Steam Worksop!

I'm getting too old for this... !!jabber!!

Yes both are available on steam now.

The QD provided with it does not work but it needs a mandatory one for the workshop.
So I tweaked something to get it across. *!greengrin!*

In short, have fun.

Well ...

There is activity this morning at the station!

1.jpg

Looks like a train is about to leave ?!

2.jpg

Hmmm, the station master is out and I see at least one traveler waiting.
I wonder how long will it take for this train to arrive at its destination? .........

3.jpg

I love my American steam locomotives.

This 1885 Baldwin Decapod no.119 is so beautiful it takes a special road for this kind of machine.

The one supplied with the UP from Smokebox does not suit me, it is not "cool" enough for this time.

I will do something to remedy this, I will make a good trip to go full steam ahead !!!

3 stations to take our travelers to the gates of the rockies.
Something to look for to roll "freight"
A few water points and coal to refuel.
Large spaces as there were in the heyday.
And above all a sufficient number of Miles and pent to put your machinist skills to the test.

It is not said that the slope of the devil does not make you sweat less than 12 mph at the risk of not being able to go up to the end !!!
So maybe you will need two locomotives to tow your goods .......

5.jpg

There is still a long way to go, but; I already seem to see the rockies in the distance.

Zawal
you really should start a new topic since this has long ago left the Montana Rail Link.

This will be a whole new road, don't worry, it will take the same DLC as the Narrow Gauge and this faith the QDs work.

I will open a new page on the "WIP" topic.
Go see, I'll explain everything.
