I have run into this before but can't remember off hand what I need to do to fix this. The couplers show up now but when I couple anything up they disappear. Anyone remember what I need to adjust to fix this?

Hard for me to tell from the photo. Did you repair the coupler issue? If so, please share...

There is also a separate sound package for all Machine Rail's freight cars. It's under the "Support" tab. However, it would be much better to set these cars up with Krellnut sounds.

Another issue is that the .bin file addresses a numbers (dscv) file from another freight car. I would be glad to create a new dscv file and edit the bin file.

The problem is there are no numbers assigned in the Geo so any numbering will have to be done manually. And no since no one stepped up to offer advice on the coupler issue I guess I will just have to flounder about as usual until I stumble on the fix.

After poking about for a bit I discovered that for whatever reason the couplers for these cars are fubar. I switched out the coupler folder for the G-Trax one and Shaazaam! everything works just fine. I will ask Rick and/or Michael if we can have permission to use them in any release. Now on to the task of seeing if I can get a car or two or six onto one of these.

First picture first car 55 Chevie my favorite. Is it possible to do some mid 60's to mid 70's models as well. Only if you feel you have the time and gumption of course. Your efforts are always appreciated.

I can do that. Additionally when I get finished it will be quite simple to substitute anything you want onto the cars and I'll print up some directions how to go about this. It will be as easy as going into one file and just changing the object line and you will have whatever cars you wish as long as they are somewhere in the game and you can find them.

Very nice repaints! I've never thought about open side autoracks until I watched a 1960s NYC railfanning video
