Wow! I am impressed that there is a CSX C40-8W in the works for TSW2! I like how it's gonna include the YN2 paint schemes, it's my favorite paint scheme for CSX! First we had the CSX C40-8Ws that were featured in the Miami-West Palm Beach route for TS20xx, years ago, and right now a CSX C40-8W is being developed for TSW2, and I gotta say, I am amazed! !*YAAA*!
Officially retired from train simming as of 2023.

Very accurate but harsh review: https://steamcommunity.com/id/ngc427/re ... d/1418841/

The copy-paste actions of DTG never fail to amaze me, as if all US locomotives are from the same box of kit parts ...

The TSW 2 base game was in the Black Friday sale, but following the re-release of some of the TSW content I own, bugs and all, still puts me off buying into this game in its second incarnation.

I will say....I wish the community would focus a little more on the platform....I honestly believe that this is the future. I was a locomotive engineer for 3 years, before returning to the military for retirement....I believe that this simulator is the closest it gets to really operating a train. The graphics quality is outstanding! I think if there was more focus on it it, the developers would invest more time in it..... just my "2 cents"

Best Regards,

Galen

There’s a mod pack out there that replaces the horns on the other 3 CSX locos in the game. It’s a massive improvement. I’m curious if anyone has had luck applying those fixes to this or there’s a horn mod anyone has found for this? It does look nice but I can’t go back to the stock horn.
