A Question about the New York Central RR?

Unread postby jpetersjr » Sat Aug 29, 2020 3:40 pm

I would like to know if anyone might have an answer to this.

I was wondering if the New York Central went through Ann Arbor Michigan during the 1930's, a smaller line from the New York Central is what I'm interested in finding, one that isn't as complex as the Water Level or Harmon - Ploughkeepsie.

If the New York Central went through Ann Arbor it would be a good place to start for a smaller and simpler practice route.

...Cheers...

Yes they did. It was under the Michigan Central RR branding but nearly everything was painted up as New York Central. The Wolverine was the big name passenger train that ran through Ann Arbor. Here's a photo of a Hudson pulling it.
