That's not correct I don't believe. The old one is in DTM\Models\RailVehicles\Diesel\ and is named ALCo FA-1. The current one from DTM is ALCo FA1-PRR and in the DTM folder. The original release of this new one did NOT have the antennas as a child object. If you bought it early it will still have the PRR antennas. The fix is to un-install and then re-install. It will then have the PRR antennas as a child object so on my repaints no antennas because of the model change.

Here it is: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1098 ... oco_AddOn/

Thanks for the response. I have followed Buzz's instructions to get his repaint but get no image after loading. The file names for the Geo files are different - FA1... vs FA-1 and I thought that might be the problem. Also Buzz mentions needing the "newest version" of the FA1_PRR, so I guess there is more than one? Maybe Buzz can clarify.

Thanks for the clarification. I have the FA-1 in the Models folder but no other. I guess I need to buy the FA your link offers but it too is shown as "FA-1" and not FA1_PRR. I'm not sure where I got the old one which also has 12 re skins, maybe from an early VNHRR Springfield route which no longer offers it. So I should just buy the linked version to use your repaints which I would love to have?

Thank you for the correction. I have discovered that I have three different repaints of 2 different versions of the FA1 &2:
The first was the "FA-1" with 12 different liveries. It was the low detail version.
The second was Cesar's revised version "FA1" combined with a New Haven repaint with 4 NH liveries
The third was the revised version with your repaints.

I was initially unable to use either of the last two because I never bought the separate "FA1_PRR" DLC from DTG. I have now and it is beautiful. However...
I have tried to use your UP repaint but cannot get it to appear. I first used your .exe installer and it seemed to install OK. When I tried to add the geo's from the original "FA1_PRR", I discovered that your install already had both required adds. I didn't add new ones and tried to use but no image. I then copied in the ones you specified, overwriting the existing ones. Still no image appeared in the Create New list for Quick Drive although the names were there. I then "drilled down" and copied the "FA1_UP" folder to the DTM folder after deleting your entire Installer package. The names are on the list but still no image. Michael Stephan's (?) NH repaints work fine. I love the pics of your UP etc repaints and would like to make them work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

First off I’m shocked if the Geos are in my upload. I’m on the road but will look tomorrow and see what’s there. There have been a lot of these D/L and this is the first I have heard of this issue. You do need to load the PRR geos for this to show up.

Many thanks. Let me know if I can do anything to help. I didn't mention before but I also tried running with both sets of geo's installed. I also cleared out everything, re downloaded your zip and started over. No luck. The two included geo's in your zip are "FA1_PRR " and "FB1_PRR" both dated 2/19/2020 6:54pm.

Buzz -
I am still trying to make use of your beautiful repaints (GN and UP) of the FA1, FA2. I have had no success in getting an image to appear although the sim shows the repaints correctly installed. After adding the geos from FA1-PRR after using your installer, I see nothing in Quick Drive "Create New" although the listing ALco FA1-UP or GN is shown and I can't build a train. The same is true for adds to a scenario. The item are listed but no image appears when selected. I have tried -
1. Deleting all references to Alco FA1 UP and GN in DTM folder and then re installing with installer.
2. Same as above but simply copying and pasting the expanded Alco FA1 folders directly into the DTM folder.
3. I had been using the 7 Zip prog to open and expand the files before installing. I also tried using the Win 10 File Explorer to expand them. No luck.
4. Using RW_Tools, I have checked the installations and nothing seems to be missing (if I'm using it correctly.)
5. I have also re downloaded your original zips from RWA and started over.

My DTG Alco FA1_PRR works fine and the RWA New Haven repaints are also OK. Only the UP and GN won't show up. Your GN and UP look really fine and I'd like to use them if you can suggest how to make them work.
Thanks.

Have you tried either one of these in a free roam scenario? Make sure and check them off in the asset box. The UP one with the thirty cars loads just fine inQD. I'm looking into why the light engine won't load in QD. The GN one has no setup for QD at this point so that's why that one won't load.

Thanks for the reply. Since I posted the last message, it occurred to me to try deleting the blueprints for the GN. I did this and RW_Tools then said nothing was missing. GN is still listed in the QD but there is no image (as you explained.) GN now does appear in the Free Roam selection successfully so it can be added and that appears OK. I will try the same remedy with the UP. I neglected to mention that I had earlier deleted the old FA-1 version in the models folder with 12 repaints of that earlier less detailed version. Perhaps it was presenting a conflict and corrupting the blueprint. Glad I got this resolved as I really enjoy your handsome repaints. Thanks again for your help.

Buzz, once again I'm trying to make use of your lovely recent repaints, this time of the Alco F1 A&B and F2 A&B NYC and Wabash. I have downloaded the files, extracted them into new folders and used your install .exe to load them. I have then added the indicated .geoPcDx files from the latest FA1 Penn version as you instructed. I did so for both the NYC and the Wabash. I guess neither of them are QD'd so I tried to open them in the scenario build but have had nothing but failure.

1) In copying over the geo's as you instructed, I see in your expanded ap folder no "engine2" like in the original F1ab penn source. I have copied geo's to the "engine" but don't know what to do with the penn "engine2" geo's. Where do I put them?

2) When opening the F1 NYC-stripe in scenario build, nothing appears although it is a selection and I have checked both the NYC and the Penn as instructed.

3) Doing the same as above for the Wabash, I do get both an A and B unit image but the A is missing undercarriage details and I opened "Searchlight Simulations" to add the headlight. As with NYC, the Wabash installed F1A in "engine" shows no "engine2" to add geos to. Also, what is a .ggg file?

I have done the entire process several times with the same results. I may be doing something wrong but I don't know what. Any thoughts???

Sorry for the inept question. I was able to achieve the installation by directly copying the two unzipped Alco F1ab and F2ab directly into the DTM folder. The "engine2" folder also then appeared and I was able to get both to appear. There might be some problem with your installers in my system.
