It's been a long week, and I unfortunately haven't had a ton of time to work on reskins. I'm not super happy with how the NdeM/Ferromex one came out, and I'm thinking of just going for a slightly cleaner non-patched version. There's a lot of stuff that I haven't gotten released yet, so here's where everything stands at the moment:
Amtrak Ex-NH Parlors: Done, just need to get them packed up
Penn Central coaches: Haven't worked on them, if someone wants to finish the set then please PM me. If that doesn't happen, it might be a while before a release
NE-5 cabooses: Still need to finalize the numbering on the PC version and a little bit of cleanup on the Trailiner logo.
RTA/Metra E8: Metra version hasn't been started yet. Both will come out after the TruRail enhancement, which is looking like some time in May possibly.
Rainbow hopper: Done, needs to be packed up and submitted
CN Cylindrical Hoppers: Still waiting for word back on autonumbers.
CP hopper: Weathering's a little funky right now. Other than that, the endframes and underbody still need repainting
NdeM hopper: Considering a full redo - see above.
There's a lot in the paint shed right now, and hopefully this weekend I can push some of it out. In case you hadn't seen, I'm working on a scenario right now following the northbound Ethan Allen Express on its journey from Sunnyside to Croton-Harmon.

All the LIRR trains are in, and the NJT and Amtrak ones are close to being done. Next, it's time to move on up the Hudson and get some more M7 action. Expect some more pictures from the scenario soon. Cheers!

All the requirements are in the manual, and if you don't have it the AP Sky & Weather pack is on sale this weekend for around $9, so if you don't have it then now's a great time to grab it. Here are some assorted screenshots from during testing:

It's a nice easy run that should take around 60 minutes with only a few red signals at Sunnyside. All AI is done to a timetable, although getting ones for the 2019/2020 era is a bit difficult because Metro-North have pulled all their old PDFs down. The era of the scenario is therefore loosely around 2015, before Amtrak shifted 291 to a weekend schedule. It's stated in the readme, but I'll say it here as well - you will need a somewhat powerful computer to run this, as the M7s and NJT mulitlevels eat frames, and there are a lot of them. This scenario may be revisited in the future once I get Donner Pass, which is a requirement for the Albany extension on the Workshop. The Ethan Allen Express generally runs with the standard Phase V painted P32AC-DM, although the Empire Service ones do occasionally make an appearance - this scenario was more of an excuse to use the wonderful repaint. Also of operational note: for some reason, you aren't able to switch to electric for the run between Sunnyside and Penn. I'm not sure why this is, and it has no real bearing on the scenario. As usual, I want to hear your questions, comments, concerns, and please do let me know if something's missing, as I may have left something out of the readme. This will make its way into the library along with a few other things soon. Cheers!

It's another short post from me tonight. Something a bit out there, but for Amtrak's 49th anniversary I figured I'd give the ACS-64s the same treatment as the P42s and throw a heritage coat of paint on them. Because of some mapping weirdness, the Phase II version's front is a design inspired by the Metroliner, which I think works very well. For Phase III, I'm thinking of continuing down the NEC heritage motif and doing the variant that was applied to the AEM-7s, with the blue stripe extending all the way down the body. Numbering is temporary and will probably change, so if you've got number suggestions then by all means let me know. All going well, these should be done for May 1.

What have I been up to these last few weeks? Firstly, huge thanks to Kevin for the New Haven info - I didn't grab a picture before posting this, but the change has been made. It'll be a bit more time before those come out, though, because a different project has been taking up a ton of my time:

As you can see, there's still a little work to do to de-E7ify this, but it's coming along nicely. A Metra version is also planned, but these won't actually be released for another few weeks until the TruRail E8 enhancement comes out as I don't want people to have to redownload it, and it comes with some other bits and bobs that make it more accurate to the RTA-spec E8s. Many thanks to Buzz and Martin Ashwill for the scripts that hide away the portholes. When the enhancement is released, I also want to do some RTA bilevels to go with these, so stay tuned until then. In other vaguely related news, I decided to make a project during quarantine to figure out how to hide nodes on models, and I'd say it went well

I was going to have a go at one of the Budd gallery cars, but I have zero experience with the child objects required to do up the nameplates on the sides. No idea what I'll use this skill for, but it's something to consider now at least. Stay healthy, folks

Seems like your quote is a bit broken there . To answer the question, right now only my hard drive as the TRS enhancement for the E8 isn't out yet, and I don't want to have to go back and update all my work once it's in the library to the more accurate version the enhancement provides.

After seeing Fireexplorer249's fantastic work with the SS/JR 4750s, I've decided to start my own pack as well. This one will be focused on the eastern railroads, and will contain at a bare minimum D&H, Penn Central, Erie Lackawanna, Lehigh Valley, Conrail, and Chessie System. If there's another road you'd like to see, just let me know - these things are dead easy to repaint, and I would love to add a few other schemes to the pack.

"PCB" hopper, one of many that was leased from Pullman Standard instead of bought outright due to PC's worsening financial condition. The reporting mark was intended to designate which cars were P-S' property if the railroad went belly-up. The PCA reporting mark was reserved for boxcars that had been obtained in a similar manner.
