Meanwhile in India people are drinking Cow's urine as they think it will prevent the virus.

Every group in the world has their own unique beliefs that they can chase off the worst of evils with a certain ritual/action.

The problem really is the lack of any sanitation facilities in these countries. The only way in a place like China where the rivers are a reddish brown from the immense pollution is to enact significant radical steps that most of us in the west would consider to be unethical or immoral.

Mankind has suffered through significantly worse with significantly less resources at hand and made it out ok. Just like my grandparents have been telling me about surviving desperate times as kids in WW2 in Europe. This whole panicking and hoarding thing is no good. *!sad!*

When I was growing up polio was the great scourge which was a lot worse if you got it yet nothing of this magnitude was done nationally. Have we become such a nation of people afraid of everything that we can no longer function? I fear for the Country not because of the virus even though I'm in the high risk group but because we don't seem to know how to suck it up and carry on.
Our grandparents went to war to save the Republic now we are being asked to sit on the couch and the Republic will be saved.
Food for thought.

The county next to us in Beaver now has 2 virus positive people. So we are creating a Crisis Center. Over 2 people! Anyway I had to go to the local Supermarket to get some milk and cat treats and coke and water softener salt. They had 2 quarts of milk regular and 7 2% milk quarts. I bought one regular, milk last a good time in my house, we just use it for tea. I also got a pint of chocolate milk. Went down the soda pop row and there were 2 6 packs of 16 oz cokes for $9. I bought 1. I bought the last softener salt on the shelf. They had plenty of cat treats. There was plenty of toilet paper though, at least today !*roll-laugh*!

There was no bread or buns. There were a bunch of premade hoagies, got 1 of them. There were no eggs, only 2 dozen of brown eggs. I saw 3 women pick up the same box of eggs and put them back after smelling them?

Toilet paper? Recycle all those corn cobs from dinner and Sears catalogs. I guess it is hard to use PDF catalogs for toilet paper. I think that that there are some in my spam folder. I !DUH! I would use newspaper but the print rubs off.

I live in a pretty random county in Fla, Volusia. We went on vacation to Tybee Isl, (Savannah Ga) recently

The day before we left, there was one conf case at home, Tuesday, got back today and there are 5 and 20+likelies

I think more people have it than anyone knows, some show litte signs and business as usual spreading it while they think nothing of it. Folks need to self isolate imo, id give my left bean to be in some cabin in the middle of Montana right now.

The TP thing is just stupid, the United States imports less than 10% of it anyway. Its very similar here during hurricane season, just country wide

Avoid crowds, stay the f away from coughers and sneezers and wash your hands. The way i see it at present every ones suspect, including me

Here north of me in Daytona beach bike week was goin on like nothing was the matter - while stuff worldwide shut down. Money grubbing idiots here helped it spread

Stay safe guys

We have more than enough forum members to do this.

I say we all start spreading rumors that prune juice mixed with cod liver oil helps cleanse your system and make it harder for the virus to take hold of you.

That way we can strike back at the toilet paper hoarders. !*roll-laugh*!
