Welcome to this Wednesday''s Route Report. - Playboy Edition. But first let's head on down to the grotto for the route update status for this Friday, January 13th.

And the status is:
[ ] Barbie Benton !*drool*!
[ ] Smoking Jacket OFF
[ X ] Smoking Jacket ON

Obviously my metric is subject to interpretation, but it looks like we are not getting lucky this Friday.
Sorry Fellas! Someday I hope to check choice one and two at the same time. A man can dream - can't he?

Where we are is in the midst of two projects: 1. The former Secret Squirrel Project and 2. The glorious Bergen. I have been putting more time into item 1 but that is due to necessity and I will discuss the results as they happen on my other thread. As for as the Bergen goes, the response to last weeks update has been favorable. I picked up 2 upvotes on Workshop for a grand total of 223 up votes with 4 !!bang!! (take that you weasels) down votes. We bumped up a few subs to 3,092 !*cheers*! very discerning folks. ( Where is the darn 'hearts' icon? )

The good news is that I am filling out the structures in Otisville. I will try and control myself and not put in 300 houses. Or not. But, I am very eager to go over the top. So much so, that I am thinking about big yards, turntables and putting scenery across the Delaware. Did you know that when we get to our target location you will be able to see 3 states and the same time? How cool is that? So all is well, we are working on something each day and moving ever forward. And thanks to all our re painters, picture-takers, lurkers (hi-Dad!) and all you deplorables who drive the route all the time.

Remember that we are half-way through winter and that means lawn mower season is right around the corner - so stock up on your Pabst Blue Ribbon!
Carry on!

If so, we have two sidings on the route for beer (thank goodness).

MaineLines, that's some beautiful weathering; nice detail with the wooden placards as well. Definetly Bergen-Worthy! !*salute*!

I'll "third" the PBR reefer nomination; it's my domestic beverage of choice. Always a couple of thirty packs out in the garage. "Get off my lawn!" *!lol!*

I can't take credit for the weathering. The car is a repaint of the Feather River Route 50ft reefer.

OK, time for fun... let me suggest a contest (a type of bucket-list) - which would you like see on your favorite rail line?

A. version PBR, version A
Pabst-Blue-Ribbon-Billboard.jpg

B. version PBR, version B
Pabst-Blue-Ribbon-Billboard02.jpg

C. version PBR, version C
Pabst-Blue-Ribbon-Billboard03.jpg

These are just proposals as I have no clue to authentic PBR reefer billboard schemes...

OK, let's hear you

Too many choices ... I need a cold one.
I love #1 yet #3 looks more plausible for the 1960's.
