Railsimulator.com comment on Facebook:

"Yes, the NEC features in-cab signalling. As Daniel says, there are some new skills to learn too!" !*YAAA*!

(I hope this refers to the RW version. !**duh*!! )

I second that. So this means the cab-signalling should work for the P42DC as well. I hope.

Nope. The Genesis' cabsignalling currently doesn't work. Maybe Rick will implement it after the NEC's release.

Hiya,

Id expect the Genesis to have in-cab signalling on release. RSC will be helping Rick do this.

I knew it! Will it work with all US signals in the game including Customs like SMM Digitals?

Hiya,

Currently the functionality is only designed to work with the NEC PCL system. This is because the NEC PCLs are designed to provide In-Cab signalling information. 3rd party and customised signal systems will need to be updated to provide similar information in order for them to work as well.

I was wondering if Super Elevation will be in this route or will there be an update after the release of RW3 adding it? I don't want to work on something without having the nice new features.

I believe it was in the FAQ's that the NEC would be the first route reworked for RW3 so I would not expect superelevation to be in the released version.
