RW enhancer

Unread postby SAR704 » Thu Dec 05, 2019 7:32 am

The only reason I am mentioning this is because I have a the original RW enhancer freeware version somewhere on this drive, but I can't recall exactly how I downloaded/acquired it. The 'wayback machine' does not have the page from late 2018 archived for some reason. But, does anyone recall the exact name of the file containing the version from November 2018?

I am not by any means trying to attempt piracy. I am merely trying to hunt down a particular file on the PC that I legally downloaded that will get the graphics quality back to how it was at the beginning of this year. It will take a bit of time to find through the Firefox data, so hence I am requesting it here. I will not be distributing it to anybody FYI.

If I can't identify the name of the file, it will take ages to rummage through lots of downloads/browsing history to locate it, assuming I do at all.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have your original email with the link? If not you might contact support at support@lonelybitsgames.com
RWEnhancer was moved to this site and you should have received a link asking you to migrate your account information over.

After a fair bit of time hunting for the original addon, I gave in and purchased the basic version of RWE. But what I notice is that graphics look identical to the vanilla game. Are my expectations unrealistic?

Here is an image that shows the current display. Graphics are set to high.

This is a screenshot with RW Enhancer on a UK rail route. Quite vibrant compared to the standard settings.

Big difference with RWEnhancer than the TS2000 settings. You can adjust so many items. I am using RWEnhancer Pro and I like it especially for screenshots.

Well my question is, how do I get the game to adapt to the 'RW Enhancer' settings? There is no difference in the screenshot after download and installing the program. I thought there should be, considering the money I spent on it.

If there is no difference then you are doing something wrong. Is the path to Railworks correct? Did you click the install update button? Did you restart the game after installation?

This should confirm the current settings. Is the above image normal with RWE basic?

I remember it being better than this with the original freeware version released late last year.

Assuming that is the correct path to your Railworks that looks correct.
