Would it be possible to add auto road numbers two these engines or will we just be getting the road numbers that these models where built with?

Right now, I don't know how to change the numbers other than possibly clone the engines and alter the textures. As I said in my previous post, I'm learning as I go. Perhaps someone with the knowledge of how to do this will offer some help.

I've made a number of improvements to the engines. Working couplers, lights and smoke for the steam locos. The big issue is sound. I'm not sure how to achieve that. I'm unable to upload them at this time. Perhaps because of the site update. I'll upload them as soon as I can.

How about 4K or 2K textures?

Unable to upload the updates I've done, I did a little more dabbling. Now, the front couplers on the steamers are working. Here are the results:

You could place your updates onto a site such as Google-Drive then post the link here for people to download until artimrj can get everything updated on this site.

Here is a link to the updated files for all the engines. https://www.dropbox.com/s/jdmp08iauhsez ... 9.zip?dl=0
Click the "Open With" button at the upper right for the download link.

Check the readme.txt for the updates and other info.

Do you mean creating new textures? The existing textures can be increased in size, but I don't think it would make any difference. As to creating new textures, it can be done. At the moment, I'm not inclined to take that on.

For whatever reason, I'm unable to access RWA through my home internet provider (CenturyLink). No other website seems to be affected. I'm sending this by using my iphone (Verizon) as a wifi hotspot.

Soon, we'll have sounds for he Allegheny/Blue Ridge! I have a friend who's created several engines and he's agreed to let me use the sounds from one of those. I'll make the files available when I'm finished.

I have sound using the Challenger sounds. Is that appropriate or should it be something else?

Oh yeah I redid the formats up to 2048x2048. And used SevenXNinja's (Benton Ferron) whistle so you can do a short toot.

Yes. The Challenger sounds are perfectly appropriate. But, I’m thinking that not everyone has the knowledge of how to link to the sound of another engine, so I’ll add generic sounds. Anyone can change them at their discretion.

IMO I'd use the cab forward engine sounds, simply because of it having the chuff from the second stack. I have plans to modify Tyler's Berkshire sounds to fit with most mallets in the sim at the moment. For the time being the Challenger sounds will do.
