This was an interesting repaint to research because the Texas and New Orleans (SP subsidiary) had 12 F-1 class 2-10-2's purchased for them by SP in 1918, numbered 970-981 and lettered for the SP. And in 1922, SP had Baldwin make 50 F-4 class 2-10-2s. These were numbered 3668-3717 and in 1926, half of them were converted to coal with the last conversion back to oil in 1946. So it's not to far out the realm of possibility to imagine a three digit SP 2-10-2 with a coal burning tender.
