Hi Tom, very god italian sentence.... Congratulations..

This is one of the problem with the various community when it is difficult to integrate contents (especially rolling stock) in a new route. Difficults to get permissione to have an easy download.
In some of the scenarios created by other author on the Torino- Bardonecchia and published also in my site, there is for each rolling stock a download link. Problem is that in the meantime some of them get closed as you already mentioned...

I'll see when I'll publish the new route SFM Turin in progress, if this can be in some way overcome with a direct integration of the rolling stock in the scenarios or with a more robust link...

That looks promising, Andrea. It would be my pleasure to test your route as it progresses.

I'm not sure what the protocol is regarding assets that, in effect, disappear when the internet sites to which they were originally posted shut down. Would it be possible to create a site where those who still have copies of those vanished files could be uploaded with the permission of their authors or at the least the names of those authors who cannot be contacted? Un tipo di tombale ferroviale?

Thanks for the compliment, by the way. I've been speaking, reading, and writing in Italian for quite a while and being congratulated by an Italian is always an honor.

My compliments was also for the usage of the words that normally are not used so much by foreign people, a sort of typical italian sentence...

Anyway, for the new route SFM, I'm progressing slowly but progressing... Still I've to decide how much I want to complete before releasing a beta and therefore a release 1. You can always look at my site for news.

Anyway I'll be more than happy if you would like to test a beta as soon it will be ready...

For the assets, I'll get in contact with some friends to understand if they can have a sort of permission by the old authors. It's a pity i we loose this possibility. This is the problem of the italian route, for which there is no addon by Dovetail that will reduce the problems...

Happy to be helpful... The new SFM route (extension of the Turin Bardonecchia route) is in progress, slowly but in progress...

I hope to finish in a couple of weeks another branch, leaving 2 missing branches for the future...
In the image the current status, blu completely done, grey only track, catenrary and signals...

in general all the stuff related to my creation (route and assets), together with the routes mentioned, you can find in my site codadeltreno.com.

In some former post in this topic, I published also some other link to italian site and communivity, to be explored in case interested...

Hi Chris.
Once logged in, all the download items are in the projects section.
Once in the project section, in every item there is a download icon with a counter at the left of the title. Click there to download it....

and tks for th comments...

Yes, for me is still an hobby to be done in spare time... ;-)

I'm currently working on the SFM route, as you know. My target is to stop no with 70% completed, and to run in a short group in a beta version and the publish maybe in September a first release.

Maybe with the target to complete it for Christmas....
