If your not that good at explaining things then let your hands be your voice and create something that people will buy into. A locomotive frame just isn't going to cut it... You need a basic game engine with a viable route and content plan and ways of reliably making content. Look at what all of these other developers struggle to go through with... I wish you the best of luck on your project but you need to do a better job of convincing people somehow to invest in your idea.

That has nothing to do with the problem here. The fact that you think someone might want to donate $300 on a monthly basis to software developers with seemingly no credentials, is slightly concerning.

okay, someone else explained it a little better to me and I see why they wouldn't provide me the money for it. I'll just have to continue the Railworks engines and get something to show for myself so that I know I'm ready to actually start the game development.

There you go. Work on what you've started, complete a few projects to the end and release them. Then you'll have something you can present to us and show us what you can do, and why people should support you in going bigger.

If you can't complete stuff, and you don't provide anything we as a community can look at and use, don't be surprised when no one wants to give you money.
