Audio shack Gp40PH-2 no shutdown

So when I shutdown the engine the sounds cut and you don't hear anything at all. I've contacted them many time and they gave me a bug fix however it only fixed the startup. I also tinkered with the proxymls and still no results. Any bright ideas on how to fix this
