Release of Stage 2 will most likely be towards the end of the week.

I added one more freeware collection to the route and you can pick it up here;

http://ajrailsim.free.fr/

Under the Objets tab you'll find refinery assets under 'Eléments de raffinerie' for download. It's a 3.3 MB file - easy install.

And FYI here are the Markers that will be included with stage 2. As you know, these are mostly used by scenario authors to quickly jump around the route in the editor. This list will give you some idea of the area covered and some entries are mostly wishful thinking on my part.

Powder River Basin: Stage 2

Mediafire link on page 8 of this thread for the release of Stage 1 has been deprecated and no longer works.

If you have already gotten stage 1 then you need the following 2 files;

PRBRoute.rwp - *REMOVED*

2 Gig download that contains, among other things, all of the extracted terrain for the planned route. It will never be this large again as I will only include terrain tiles that I modify in future stage releases.

Tomcat.7z - *REMOVED*

820KB download that contains the Readme pdf and Tomcat.rwp that includes the additional entries I made to the route markers

If you did not grab Stage 1 then you also need the following;

PRBassets.rwp - *REMOVED*

228MB file that contains the assets that I can freely distribute

Dependencies are;

Payware:

Tehachapi Pass (Majority of the route is from this dependency)
Soldier Summit
Sherman Hill
Steven's Pass

Freeware:

RCAP from Railworks America. http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... =22:models

Pipeline lofts and Coal Mine Conveyor from Golden Age of Railroading. http://golden-age-rails.com/rwscenry.html

Eléments de raffinerie from *REMOVED* Under the Objets tab you'll find refinery assets under 'Eléments de raffinerie' for download. It's a 3.3 MB file - easy install.

And as always many thanks to the freeware creators;

EMDSD90MAC
SMMDigital
John Lippai
Great Northener

and the payware providers;

3DTrains (Marc Nelson)
G-TraX
DTG

Thank you Tom for this route updated. No problem for me and it's up running in Train Simulator 2018.

You're welcome, glad it went smoothly for you. Three months or so and Stage 3 will be due.

Took a couple days off after releasing Stage 2 and now I'm polishing up a few spots in Newcastle before I move on to putting in the Eastern part of the town.

Thank you for taking the time to try it out. If you come across anything that seems odd don't hesitate to ask about it either here or in a PM.

Started a run down the Orin Line. Superb - I can feel the heat, dust etc!!. The textures are just excellent.

The single freeroam gives an error on my game, and RW_Tools shows this file is missing: Kuju\RailsimulatorUS\RailsimulatorUSAssets\RailVehicles\Freight\CoalHopper\v3\Wagon\coal_hopper.bin

Seems like a pathname got confused?

Your Kuju US stuff is in an .ap file so RW Tools always reports that stuff as missing

I know.

But this is a faulty path name. I edited it, and now the train shows up.

Should we delete the stage 1 version or overwrite it?

You know you're getting old when you think you posted a day or two ago but it's actually 5 days. Time has a way of slipping away.

My bad! The pathname was not the only thing that got confused. Seems I did something many months ago and then forgot to clean up after myself. In any case, my mistake caused the hopper to be M.I.A. and in addition caused a bunch of signals to go missing. Salient point is that I am aware of the problem, it has been fixed and will show up in the Stage 3 release which I will endeavor to release earlier than originally planned.

Take your time, no need to rush in this summer holiday period.

I edited the path names in the tracks.bin and in some scenery tiles, but of course a v3 release will cure it for everybody.
