FINALLY!!! Someone has made this nice Chessie Systerm Steam!! Sad part? My pc fried so I'm unable to give it a shot. I've requested this engine for a very long time.

Although I just found on the side of the Tender that I believe doesn't seem right. The chessie Tender in this image is not correct...

The Engine is just okay but the Tenders needs a refix and should look like the real thing. Again I wanna say thank you for uploading the Chessie System Steam Special. My Dream has come true.

I'm glad you enjoy it! I know the tender isn't prototypical, but then again, neither is the locomotive!

I just wanted something simple to start with while I was experimenting with reskinning. I figured that a fictional reskin would be more freeing than replicating one since I'm just starting out with trying to make my own skins.

As for the tender, I know that the logo isn't correct, but since the GS-4 has such large streamlining panels, I couldn't let all that space above the cylinders go to waste so I slapped a logo right there and left the tender very simplistic.

Like I said, it's a fictional reskin based on the T1 you pictured there. I probably would have tried to reskin the SP&S 700 using a berkshire tender but that loco doesn't have ANY pieces on the side to repaint with the broad stripes that define the Chessie T1. Anyways, I'm glad people are enjoying it. It was pretty fun to make and I feel happy with it being my first!

Your first time reskinning? It ain't your first LOL. I've tried to reskin the Big Boy Tender but with no Luck. I know another way how you can actually put the Chessie Logo onto the Tender without needing a logo. There's a Chessie Font you can use. I just learned that when I was working on my videos and found a Shortcut to do just that. It should make it easier for you to slap it onto the Tender.

Well, it's my first time completing a reskin and then releasing it. At this moment it's still my only completed reskin. I have far too many ideas though, haha! I usually run into an issue and then either start all over again or pick a different livery and model to work on. And sometimes I run into an issue that I can't figure out. For example, I've been trying to make "pullman green" reskins of the PRR passenger stuff from the Horseshoe Curve DLC and the Centipede DLC. Something that I still can't figure out is alpha channels for labels and decals. I've asked and people have explained on here, but it still doesn't make any sense. I kinda wish someone would make a video tutorial on how to work with the decals, but for now I'll stick with things like the GS-4 because it doesn't really have any decals (I think except for the warbaby which is dynamically numbered? idk. That's fine though.) Anyways, I may go back through and make a version 2 of this loco. There's some things like the striping on the drivers that I missed, but my main focus with this version was figuring out how to paint in general. OH WELL, haha. Thanks for the heads up about the font, though. I'll check it out.

I downloaded the Chessie, but the Tender doesn't seem to work. It doesn't show the Chessie System tender plus there's no chessie Cab color on there except the Boiler. I think something's missing on the reskin. if I need to show it to you I can. I ain't Complaining. I just want to show you what I got on my end.

Y I K E S I don't know why that's doing that...I'm planning on redoing it anyways, but I thought I had repainted the correct files bc it shows up properly on my train sim.

I wonder if it has to do with not repainting every single file. Cause there are some textures that don't show up when I repaint them? I'm not sure. I think when I redo it, I'm going to apply the changes to each texture rather than just the ones that "show up".

Meh That's okay. No need to Apologize. I can understand its hard work on the reskins. It sounds like it's still in Beta :). Keep trying and I can test them for you before it goes on RWA as an update. :)
