Here's a screenshot taken on the route just north of Oneida. This section had tight radius curves and steep uneven grades. It was always a battle to move trains through here. As traffic built, the B&LE completed construction of a new mainline to ease the bottleneck. Here we see the tail end of a coal drag disappearing under the bridge as it claws its way up the old line. A southbound mixed freight led by a pair of 2-10-2 Santa Fe class locomotives takes the new line, crossing the old line twice on its way to Butler. Eventually the new line was double tracked and the old line was abandoned and pulled up.

Looking good!

Will this route include the Western Allegheny RR at Queen Junction and all the original trackage around Mercer at Houston Junction as well?

How much of the Linesville-Meadville Branch at Meadville Junction and/or the Hilliards Branch?

Will it include the roundhouse facilities at Albion?

>Will this route include the Western Allegheny RR at Queen Junction

We included the interchange with the WA and nearby track

> and all the original trackage around Mercer at Houston Junction as well?

No, this is not included.

> How much of the Linesville-Meadville Branch at Meadville Junction

Its modeled from Meadville Junction to just beyond Conneaut Lake. And we included the spur up to Conneaut Park with the amusement rides there.

> and/or the Hilliards Branch?

> Will it include the roundhouse facilities at Albion?

Yes, and also at Greenville, Butler, and North Bessemer.

Thanks mate for the new screenie. To be honest, dont know a lot (anything really !**conf**! ) about this line, but am eagerly looking forward to its release. I think it a great bonus that it interchanges with other roads that we already have rolling stock and locomotives for, which just brings a whole new level of immersion/

!*cheers*!

I thought I'd elaborate on this. The following foreign roads are represented on the route:

NYC at Conneaut
NKP at Conneaut
PRR at Greenville ** ( modeled from Osgood to Shanango )
WAL at Queen Junction **
BR&P at Butler **
PRR at Butler **
B&O at Butler **
Standard Steel plant at Butler **
Cheswick & Harmar RR at River Valley **
PRR at River Valley
Buffalo & Allegheny RR at River Valley ( later PRR )
Renton Mine RR at Unity Junction **
Union RR at N. Bessemer **

** indicates place where we interchange cars

Is there any estimate on when we can read the manual? Would love to see the assets that come with the route!

I may have leaked too much already. I better wait till our band leader checks in here to answer that one.

Will the 2-10-2s work on the old main or are they too big for that part of the line?

They can negotiate the tightest radius sections but with much flange squeal and complaining.
