Ex-Railwayman! Yes, we have made a U-Turn and ended up in Louisiana! (Think Bayou) There is a great deal more water detail than I anticipated. I keep forgetting to check the darn scenery in detail ahead of time. So, I got burned again thinking I had an easy section. Now, I am mad and I am putting in little ponds, mud holes, wet spots, and puddles. But seriously, I am trying to get as much of the water detail in as I can! Last, I planned on asking what you thought of the trestle and then Fan Railer posts a video.

So to review - here is Fan Railer's Video: https://youtu.be/7S-AS0xpKsU

Fan Railer! Great to see you back and shooting up a virtual reels on the Bergen again. *!!thnx!!*

There is always so much to talk about. Here is a shot of a completed scene. This captures one of the joys of building and what slows it down.
20170607231949_1.jpg

Ok, so its some high-tension wire and the easement for it. You may or may not have seen the real thing before but here you go. From where you stand in the shot, the far tree line is 2900 feet away, the track is about 250. This one side took 90 minutes. Why do it? Yes, its there. Well for one reason this is one of the few unbroken views from the track. Second is depth of filed. This shows you how far away you are - it gives you a sense of space and scale. Its a big world right? You may completely miss this at 50-60 mph ... but you will catch a bit of it if just for a second. Its all these little scenes and glimpses you get, that just make it believable, so I do it. So, when driving the route... do look around, you will always find something there of interest.

Yes, our keen eyed friend is on the button, they are Trinity Hoppers by Ian (eyein12).

Yes, well spotted, but, how you can observe them from that distance though, is a complete mystery, | won't ask....... !*roll-laugh*!

I must have a look to see if we have any Crocs, or, Alligators to use as scenery assets, in that case....... !*roll-laugh*!

I think the Trestle is outstanding, but, then again, everything on this whole route is outstanding, so, no surprise at all, and it runs flawlessly on my system with all of your extended drawer distances everywhere that make it look so real, it's a work of art and it demonstrates exactly what can be done in the game with the depth of field to make it look so life like, well done, and carry on Sir. !*salute*!

Fanrailer! I see the run and it is long. It is almost 2 hours to Hoboken!

*ROUTE UPDATED*

The Minermen present:

Route Update Number 169
New York Division-Bergen Line 9.9.0.6:NY Route 208

Additions: Extend and Detail Scenery from Blooming Grove to RT208, Campbell Hall. Widen overall scenery in Blooming Grove.
Fixes:None

I only went 2000 feet west with scenery but it is about a mile wide. That might make up for the lack of scenery progress. I did lay track and signal even closer to Campbell Hall.

This mornings images is from the Western edge of this weeks scenery work. Enjoy!

I'm late to the party with your route but wow!
I only started running it a week or so back when i got the gp-35s with scenarios and i've not stopped since.
I've not even got out to your latest parts yet as i'm enjoying the Dundee spur so much.
I'm looking forward to your updates if i ever get that far !!*ok*!!
