I love these junker repaints Sty! Please do more of them in the future.

All things considered, I think your repaint holds up very well against the real thing:

But I'll continue with my "nitpicking" and report back if I find anything. !*salute*!

the auto numbering drives me batty though. I hate how new it looks and smaller but meh.

Oh... I also held back.. I usually show everything 100 times as I paint it..

But decided to actually wait till it was nearly complete (number fonts) and pop it in as a surprise.

This will be included in the uploaded version.. :)

And what an awesome surprise that is! Nice one! !!*ok*!!

Sorry to go a little off topic here but, how do you go about changing the digits used for the auto numbering? I've been trying to get my Norfolk Southern ES44AC repaint to use the same digits as the NS Dash 9 but umm....

It's not going too well. !*don-know!*

Bill
Have you tried overlaying a dark greyish layer with the very slightest tint of the body color on the numbers to help tone the numbers down and blend in some....
Yeah, I think RS.com needs to make the child number planes bigger ( taller ) so we can adapt with size ( textures ) and get our protypically wanted affect right.

Besides that, you have excelled again..... **!!bow!!**

EDIT: Added Taller

Yeah... I could.... Grr.. I HATE font editing.. It's quite possibly the worst part of any repaint.. 10 textures.... So tedious... I'll see what I can whip up because the more I look at that awful numbering the more I want to rip it off. :D

And the pack just gets bigger.

Dynamic brake versions of both. ;)

Beta - 2

If you installed previous beta UNINSTALL IT BEFORE INSTALLING NEW BETA to make the process easier.

I removed all the cab view geo's from this beta. While totally useless without the main model geo I don't feel like having my repaints possibly reported for "piracy" again (yes that actually happened. In the past.) so you have a lot more copy and pasting to do now. *!rolleyes!*

Installation:
Install RWP with Railworks package manager.

Copy:
GP9_01.GeoPcDx from \Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\Southern\Engine\

Paste to:
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\ConrailClean\Engine\
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\ConrailAban\Engine\
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\ConrailAbanNum\Engine\
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\PennCent\Engine\

Copy:
GP9_01.GeoPcDx from \Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\Rio\Engine\

Paste To:
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\ConrailCleanDyn\Engine\
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\PennCentDyn\Engine\
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\PRR\Engine\

Copy:
GP9_cab.GeoPcDx from \Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\Rio\Cabview\

Paste to:
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\ConrailClean\Cabview\
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\ConrailAban\Cabview\
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\ConrailAbanNum\Cabview\
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\PennCent\Cabview\
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\ConrailCleanDyn\Cabview\
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\PennCentDyn\Cabview\
\Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\PRR\Cabview\

Made a correction to the install (incase anyone grabbed it already)..

The cab geo has to be copied from the RIO cabview folder, NOT default! :)

Amazing.
That PRR unit would look great sitting in the middle of Horseshoe Curve if anyone attempts the Pittsburgh Line.

Just use the numbers bin file from the Dash-9 & point to that in the engine blueprint. Gonna break if someone doesn't have the dash-9 of course.

I did an ES44 a while back, I can't remember if I changed the numbers or not though!
