At the least we need an admission from Sir Paul Jackson that the game, as released, has some fairly major issues. What we don't want is the somewhat lame excuse we got at times reporting faults in TS20xx, that fixing them would break scenarios etc.
The people reporting these across all three of the main forums (here, Trainsim dot com, UKTS) are veteran train simmers not new people just starting out in the genre.
Latest from Seagoon (the very respected Bruce Kennewell) at TS is that the dynamic brake on the AC4400's doesn't work and on the locos where it does work the gauges are not registering correctly nor are the correct sounds for dynamic braking played. This is another fundamental set of flaws in what is supposed to be a simulation of North American heavy freight railroading.
In line with Bob's CoC this is not DTG knocking but I think we need a realistic assessment of what's happened here - software with great potential but as it stands greatly flawed and wasn't really ready for market.

Tom, you are a sick, sick man! That's just crazy!!!
On the other hand, I now feel quite sanguine about all my time spent in flight simulators and, more recently, that damned addictive World of Tanks!
