Unread postby o0nightfire0o » Wed Feb 08, 2017 7:07 pm

so I downloaded this GP9 reprint nd it says to...
a.Copy GP9_01.GeoPcDx from \Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\Default\Engine\
b.Paste GP9_01.GeoPcDx to \Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9\SOO_old\Engine\

and ive done that and the engine shows up with all textures missing, any help?

If the loco shows up but no textures I suggest you look and see if the textures are there.

I don't understand what's wrong with the engine. From the picture I do not see any missing textures.

Press F12 and take a screenshot of what you see and post it. That might give us a better idea on what you're seeing.

Just as I thought. There are textures there, you say? It could be something with the bin file looking at the wrong path.

The GP9 had an update a couple years ago and that repaint is nearly 6 years old. I installed it last night to see waht the problem was and got the "missing textures" texture like in your picture. So I experimented.

Look in \Assets\RSC\GP9Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP9 and see if you have a folder named Rock.

If you do, use the GP9_01.GeoPcDx from that engine folder. That may possibly fix most of your texture problems.

Its likely the numbers won't show, but if that happens, I have a fix I can send.
