*Side note* The PC units are completely inaccurate. In our extensive beta testing, not only were the units clean and did not smell like a combination of cigars and old socks, we had a zero percent operational failure rate. This is NOTHING like the real Penn Central. Just sayin.

Purchased BOTH packs the other day but have not made anything with them yet. They sure do look good though!

I really went over these units - the developer insisted on it. The horn .. its has the right horn! I bought the freight pack last week to run Martins scenario and it certainly was tricky. I am hoping for some time this weekend to put together a nice 1977 scenario and run the route through its paces!

I'm looking forward to this so eagerly, having no skills for creating scenarios myself (yet), I haven't been able to fully experience the route as intended.

Ssbobz - I agree with statement wholeheartedly. This is has been a project of IMMENSE delayed gratification. (I use that for motivation). But you don't need to suffer along with me! Head on over to the "scenario builders" version of the Bergen right here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =827078456. This is the same route, just a finalized version, and where I will be putting a scenario or two up in between building. By my count we have 6 scenarios out there now. The key word to look for in Workshop is CROXTON, you will find the scenarios!. We have another thread here on RWA about that version - use the key work CROXTON to find it! I was thinking that I needed to put some pictures up, but nah! Look at these quality shots! I love seeing your pictures and considering all the views, its looks like many others enjoy them as well so do keep them coming.

So much going on these days - we got Travel By Trains awesome GP35 in Erie Lackawanna and 2 other trains too! I picked up the US Freight Pack over and T and D and they look great. I also approached their creator for some 'special' rolling stock! So we shall see how that goes.

I do hope the regular readers of this on going thread will figure out where this is all going. Your humble root builder has finally figured it out. If I go down to the basement right now there as 85 percent complete HO scale representation of Suffern and Harriman and its covered in Erie Lackawanna. Bet you didn't know that. I also have in my filing cabinet all the source data I use - my Dad's time tables for the EL and for Conrail. I have about 50gb of maps, pictures, stories and stuff I have collected over the past 10 years. I have enough material to not just recreate the New York Division but operate it as well. I also realize this is not a passing interest. Based on my personal observations it appears that I have planning on rebuilding the New York Division for the past 40 years and I am getting very close to realizing it. And you guys will not have the tangible results from a hobbyist, but from a person who was there on the scene and on the train - at that time. This is a totally weird experience. I am working on this scenario I want to do on the Ordinary and use this new period equipment I have. I am placing trains on the scenario from the actual time tables I have on hand. And I didn't get those from ebay - they are my father's and I was on the train with him. I got the right road numbers, the speeds, the traffic on the line for that day. I sourced the weather and a specific date. I am working on this scenario while flipping back and forth on pages in the Conrail Handbook and approximating the position of the trains on the line at specific times!

This is what I wanted to do all along, to bring something that I lost .. to bring it back for another ride.
