Do you have the ScaleRail Tracks installed on your computer?

I do not. The description stated that it was a "complete package". I will download Scalerail Tracks and re test. Probably should add this to the description if this is the issue.

It is a preview and you can not give Scalerails away. And it has been so long ago we started this that I forgot about scale rails. Chances are it uses all of the free scalerail stuff including roads and scenery. So download all of the free products from 3D Trains site.

Yes, it does use the Scalerail, Scaleroad, and Scalescenery free packs.

I also wanted to take a minute and say that this route gives off a great feel of being in the middle of nowhere, yet surrounded by industry, especially around Lafayette.

For those of you who, like me, don't have the best performing desktops/laptops, you WILL have some issues. Don't go and try to load every industry down with rolling stock and locomotives, IT WILL CRASH!!! Keep things simple and you will enjoy it! If you really want to get into some heavy industrial switching, you're gonna have to keep from going crazy with the amount of rolling stock you place.

So far the only issue I've had is at the ADM facility in Frankfort having one bad track. I will post which specific track it is when I get back on it later today.

Otherwise, !!*ok*!! !!*ok*!! so far!

Which are even better if you have the payware versions.

I have downloaded the additional track assets from ScaleRail and while installing it asked into what folder to install. All my Railworks assets are installed on (C:) drive. Should it be Assets>ScaleRail? Normally the folder destination is preset by the installation software.

This where they go on my system

D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\railworks\Assets\3DTrains\ScaleRail

All the other Scale rail products and free stuff go to

D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\railworks\Assets\3DTrains\

and they all including Scalerail made their own folders.

I ran the entire route westbound from Tipcot to Lafayette using a long UP train with Sd40-2´s.
Very nice route, well done, care for details. The speed limits are Ok, maybe with a couple exceptions mentioned in the post above. No problem with any signal whatsoever. Lots of objects, people and vehicles along the tracks enrich the route. Very nice industries. Very realistic route concerning the real track in that Indiana region.

However plenty of issues with the scenarios and rolling stock, even crashes in the scenarios using the Black GEVO. I will go into this again soon.

I did not find QD. I guess the scenarios for that are still not done.
And I also missed roads car traffic. Here I don´t know if something is missing in my system if it is still incomplete or there are no plans to make those.

As mentioned by AmericanSteam I also had similar problems. I made an error downloading the wrong ScaleRail tracks system (MSTS) but I realized something was wrong by looking into the tracks.bin file and seeing the track sections had not recognized paths.

I like the route because one of my wishes has always been (since MSTS) a route based in a stretch between Fort Wayne, OH to Bellevue, OH but centered in Fostoria, OH, with a very similar landscape.

Well done Bob! !*brav*! !*brav*! !*brav*!

The AI traffic will come later. Using scalerail traffic is not easy for me due to when you place them you can not get a hold of them again. There is more work to be done on the scenery. One of my newest set of assets contains the berms that need to be in a lot more places. Reagan needs to be worked on and so does Frankfort. Little odds and ends to give it the finishing touch. And then any bugs people find.

Its a nice little route and in an area that has not been modeled for TS. I've made a simple quick drive to run a small passenger service East to West. Nice way to see the route and enjoy the scenery. I've never ridden a train through Indiana but it sure looks like driving through. As the little kinks get worked out it should be good for many hours of good entertainment.
