Nice.. Of course it isn't without it's flaws.. I, or others will get into that later. But I still like it.

Does the MP36 have the default F59 Sounds or are they different?

The alerter system, I believe is quite buggy. It doesn't doesn't deactivate properly as the sound is consistently ongoing until the alerter starts up again. And, the the throttle is faulty as well. Otherwise, the route is decent. I don't know much about it personally.. But it's quite nice.. the loco itself needs a little extra attention, functionality-wise.

From a quick 20 minute drive on my lunch break, this route is very well put together. Definitely atmospheric. I eagerly look forward to getting a more in-depth look at it later tonight. The sounds on the MP36 are great too, and I was happy to see new brake indicator lights on the bombardier bilevels!

Very minor point: a fair amount of the AI trains are facing the wrong way in the southbound Quick Drive scenario I ran. Not a problem, and I certainly don't intend to sound like a bellyacher - I'm very pleased with this DLC.

Other than looking decent, the MP36 is a complete non-starter for me. Looks like I'm going to stick to using Metra equipment on this route until DTG fixes this mess they've created with the scripting.

The engine script is so bad that not even the master himself can't change it?

Dovetail already said they plan on releasing the F40PH-2 and Nyppon Sharyo gallery cars for the Caltrain route early next year (2017).

Saw a video with them using the DTG F59 sounds...but it IS accurate since the F59 sounds were recorded off a Northstar MP36PH-3C.

Unfortunately, no mention of the Bombardier BiLevel cab controls in the manual.

For us fans of more vintage locomotives the GP38-2 provided with this route looks pretty interesting. As usual the sounds and horn pretty much leave much to be desired however the mapping looks to be a major improvement over the nightmare mapping of the original RSC models. The map is now 4096x4096. Interesting. I look forward to messing with it. Roller bearing axles are now animated. Doors and windows operate and the windows when open show as to be open from outside also.

The physics are fine. If you take a look at the dcsv files, the values should look familiar (hint, they're mine from an old F59 mod).

I don't do script, otherwise, I'd have already fixed the issues at hand. The script-master is BNSFdude and his buddies.

So DTG used your MP36 physics mod for the Metrolink F59PH? (Specifically the one with JohnS brake fix)?
