its funny you mention that. i took great care to lower the amount of textures, and share textures between buildings. ive managed to increase what i could put in a tile and still be fine. it is a major city and urban sprawl afterall so the tiles that have the city youre gonna notice a slight drop in framerates but not like davenport, thankfully seattle is next to a large body of water, not a river. I still want this to be a real world experience so im not gonna skimp on the clutter:) i figured out how to be resourceful when putting buildings together

i have a dual core processor, gt 220 card and 7.5 gb RAM, and its running solid. anything higher will kill this route. anything about 4gb RAM should do fine. I'll do a spec check before i release it.

since working on this i feel like i actually live in seattle lol. Im going for style points on this sucker.

Portland, OR final destination.

however you wont see that til next year as I'll be releasing the route in chunks. 181miles total end to end, and 250 total track miles with spurs and yards. this is by-far a huge undertaking but surprisingly starting to shape up.

what you can expect in June is Seattle at least for phase 1. I plan on getting 10-15 miles mainline towards Tacoma in there to keep you all busy with highballs and switching too.

I will be facilitating AMtrak usage on the route, the king st station is done. there are 2 or 3 stops along the way to tacoma which i will be building in too. this will be a freight and passenger route.

Looks great Michael.. Putting down scenery in an area like Seattle city ( any city and town for that matter ), that takes patience. Keep up the great work. !!*ok*!!
