Trouble Making Backup Copy of Weardale & Teasdale

I'm trying to make a backup copy of Weardale & Teasdale. Normally, I make the copy using Sync Toy.

The copy is stored on an SSD, which has always been offline, at least when playing TS. When I try to load the copy of W & T, I get a consist builder message, and there's no scenery.

This is the protocol I've always followed to make a backup copy. Did something change with TS 2017?

Hi, I've also used Sync Toy in the past. However, after one disaster on my working copy of TS2016, when I used the Synced copy I found a lot of items either hadn't copied over in the first place, or weren't placed back in the original when I tried to restore them, and I had to manually copy them over. Don't know why it happened, but after that I copied and pasted the whole rebuilt installation over to my backup, and have had no problems since. You may need to copy them over manually, if it's the same problem I had.
