Yes, you would need another horn xml and horn proxyxml/proxybin set copied and renamed for the P5. After that Change the proxyxml to look at the P5 horn files. Once done, change the NS dash 9's xml so that it looks for the P5 horn xml.

The Dash-9 pack has only one audio folder that covers all locomtives. Your saying I can copy the xml and proxyxml files then change to read the P5 for the NS unit? Yet still have BNSF using K3LA?

Generally the horn is a child object and all you need to do is reference the other locomotive which has the horn you like.
