There's also been some very useful information that has been pointed out to me. I've always thought that LV #211 had the high hood added to it by Conrail, its had it ever since the engine was originally built for the Pennsylvania RR. It was among five RS-3's that were built with one, four for WM and one for PRR. All of this was pointed out by Joe Nugent of the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum. Joe has also provided pictures of the cab of the current day engine.

Here's how it looked when it was originally built

So I think I'll make both the original engine and the current day Conrail rebuilt engine.
