Trying to find Mainelines' ACF 40-foot boxcar

Unread postby katyusha454 » Fri Jun 17, 2016 12:40 pm

I'm trying to find this car so I can use some of the reskins for it, but it's not on RWA as far as I can tell, and the only place I could find it was on Elvas Tower, which isn't accepting new members so I can't download it. Does anyone know where it can be found available for download?

One of the finest pieces of rolling stock made. A real breakthrough in modeling. Maybe someone can PM it to you.

Looks like it might be time for me to package up all the rolling stock I have done so far and upload it here. I think the 40ft box and maybe the 70t covered hopper may have some sound issues I need to correct and installing those older cars will overwrite the great work Eric did on coupler parameters of the newer cars. I will try to have something ready for next weeks File Library update.

That came up empty. I did check trainsim and couldn't find it, which is weird because I remember downloading it from there a couple years ago the first time I had it.

Search this: acf40ftbox.zip on trainsim. That should get you there or wait for Larry's update.

For some reason that crummy search program over there comes up empty when you try to link the thing Bob. That's why I said to do that search and make sure to do the whole thing including the .zip or it won't find it.

Ah, I thought since the search ID number was different it would work. Weird system. Pasting this into google's search brought it up as the first result:

site:trainsim.com acf40ftbox.zip

Thanks Katy
That solved my problem getting these new repaints to show up.
They are now working.
