computer freeze

computer freeze

when running simulator my computer freezes up,and i have to shut it down. i have a new and powerful computer running win 7 any ideas? it has happened under several different circumstances. none where there was low frame rates or undo load on the computer.

When it freezes up, you mean you can't even use "CTRL-ALT-DEL" and use Task Manager to shut down Railworks? And you're not getting "something bad has happened"? A new PC shouldn't have overheating issues, but that would be my next guess. Do you get any error messages from Windows when you restart the PC?

i've come to realize it isn't a problem with railworks. something else is going on,so i'm going to get in touch with dell. to answer your question using those keys wouldn't un freeze it, and there were no error messages when i turned the computer back on.
