There are dozens of good scenarios for it, included assets are great, there's a lot of DLC for it and there's a PRR version for almost all existing rolling stock. It was possibly the greatest value for the whole game, now it's even better at the reduced price.

And they'll be essentially unsalable in September when TS2016 becomes a thing of the past. Try and squeeze those last few dollars out of them now.

I was still using MSFS 2004 when they discontinued the whole thing because I had so many addons and third party stuff that wouldn't work with FSX. Don't be so sure that TS2016 in going to disappear as soon as this new wonder version comes out.

You're absolutely correct, but the many of us is a rather small proportion of the greater audience. I don't plan on upgrading immediately, I may even create a new folder to run TS2016 out of so I can keep my old stuff.
However, the majority will jump on the new game making the old DLC essentially unsalable as stated before. The people on TS2016 have all of the old stuff so we won't buy it, the rest have already moved on.
