I have a question for your question. First would it make a difference on whether you would buy this or not? Second, why don't you ask someone to make a video that many on here really enjoy doing if you are curious instead of waiting for the usual snarky remarks by someone who never approves of any sound from the maker? In that way you can judge for yourself.

They're recycled from the Kuju ES44. It is possible to alias to the sounds to the VRC version fortunately, or just duplicate the scenario and swap all the DTG U30Bs with the VRC. Since it takes longer to start the timetables may need adjustment.

Cheers, just what I thought, looks like I'll have to invest in the VRC U30B

One does understand that whether this is a so called "re-cycled" sound or not that essentially these are pretty much the same prime mover therefore they are going to sound much the same.

Only the model designation is the same. The recorded sound they have is of a 7FDL16 with electronic fuel injection, modern exhaust silencer, different timing, etc. They sound nothing alike even to someone that doesn't have the ear for it. Just listen to the difference between my D9 sounds and VRC's U boats. "Same engine" so you say, but different nuiances and sounds.

I apologize for returning to the original topic, but just want to ask whether the dark green WP liveries included in the EMD SW1500 and GP9 Road Switcher DLC packs are appropriate for use on this route. Based on the users' manuals, both switchers come from the same same era as the route and strike me as more suitable than the U-Boat or the F7 for yard work.

The green livery was started in '71 or '72 until the railroad was merged in '82. It was dubbed Pearlman green after their then President.

The route terminates in Oroville on the west end, so you guys must be referring to Portola.

We'll definitely see those in many user-created Workshop scenarios!

Yes, the silver paints back then faded terribly which is why W.P. changed liveries.

I would be careful here dleeboy as you could be breaking DTGs copyright rules by adapting TS2016. Quote from the TS2016 manual. "Unauthorised copying,
adaptation, rental, re-sale, arcade use, charging for use, broadcast, cable transmission,
public performance, distribution or extraction of the product or any trademark or copyright
work that forms part of this product is prohibited. Developed and published by DTG. The full

Including the one I'm working on now. The "U-Boat "'s brakes and acceleration don't work well for switching and the F7 doesn't strike me as appropriate, so I'm going to go for the GP9, perhaps with a U-Boat alternative version for purists.

Do you have FanRailer's mod present?

I want to develop a modern scenario for FRC , using BNSF and UP stock from Stevens Pass and Sherman Hill
and as I see in youtube videos, stack trains are quite common on this route

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wl4px2o3-C4

But, tunnels in the historical representation of the route have not enough clearance for double stack trains. When the tunnels was rebuild to allow stack trains to pass though?
